Iran, Norway Discuss Oil, Gas Cooperation

Based on the latest statistics, at least 436 people have been killed and over 10,000 injured in quake-stricken areas in Iran.

Iranian Envoy to Norway Mohammad Hassan Habibollahzadeh and Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy Terje Søviknes reviewed cooperation in the fields of oil and gas and renewable energies.

 

Habibollahzade voiced Iran’s readiness to take advantage of Norwegian companies’ experiences, technical knowledge and investment.

Meanwhile, Søviknes sympathized with the bereaved families of the victims of the fatal quake that happened on November 12 in western Iran.

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake jolted the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq on November 12. The quake was felt in some neighboring countries as well.

Based on the latest statistics, at least 436 people have been killed and over 10,000 injured in quake-stricken areas in Iran.

He welcomed the increasing participation of Norwegian oil and gas firms in Iran.
