"A number of international investors are seeking to invest in Iran's Renewable energies market", said Iranian Energy Minister, Hamid Chitchian on Friday.

He made the remarks on the sidelines of the ground-breaking  ceremony for a 30-megawatt solar plant in the city of Jajarm, North Khorasan Province, 'Energy Today' reported.

The minister told that Jajarm solar plant is a big jump in country's renewable industry, pointing to projects in the cities of Arak, Isfahan and Hamedan, with a total output capacity of 10 MW.

The project is part of efforts to raise the low share of renewable sources in Iran's power industry that is highly dependent on fossil fuels.

Referring to the construction of Jajarm's 30-MW solar plant with cooperation of Iran, Switzerland, Spain and France, Chitchian said: "North Khorasan will be the Hub of Iran's clean energy production".
