Iran and Italy's Cooperation in Solar Plant Construction

Apolia's officials are eager to strike a sisterhood deal with BandarAbbas and Bari Port.

A European firm active in Italy will participate in construction of the first 100 Megawatt solar plant that requires €140 million ($163 million) in investment in Hormozgan Province, said Hormozgan's Governor General Jasem Jaderi on Friday.

Jaderi made the statement following a visit at the head of a delegation to Italy’s southern region of Puglia to explore wide-ranging opportunities for collaboration and investment, including renewables energies.

He said that the initial negotiations to strike a purchase deal of equipment needed to eliminate pollution of internal cars have been finalized.

Jaderi reiterated that Apolia's officials are eager to strike a sisterhood deal with BandarAbbas and Bari Port and added in line with expansion of relations, Apolia's Governor General will travel to Hormozgan Province to strike a sisterhood deal between two cities, late in October.
