Kazakhstan will not Increase Oil Production at Kashagan This Year

Kazakhstan encourages OPEC's decision to increase oil production by 1 mln barrels per day within OPEC+ deal.

Oil production at Kashagan will not be increased to 370 000 barrels per day this year even if it is decided to enhance production within OPEC+ deal, said Kanat Bozumbayev, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan.
"Not this year," he said answering the question about when this field reaches this level, TASS reports.
He said Kazakhstan encourages OPEC's decision to increase oil production by 1 mln barrels per day within OPEC+ deal and relies upon fair distribution of quotas between the member states.
"It must be fair," he said answering the question about quotas distribution.
